The Care and Supportive Services Department of AIDS Community Alliance works to provide the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to enhance and sustain the quality of life of individuals infected with HIV and their families in south central Pennsylvania.
All of the care and supportive services offered by the agency are provided in a deployed service delivery model. The service model allows staff to provide the requested programs and services in any setting that is mutually agreeable to the client and member of the ACA staff whether that location is at a restaurant, at another social service agency, at a medical provider or even in the client's home.
Services are provided in a client-driven, strengths-based perspective that allows individuals accessing the services to determine their needs and in what programs they wish to participate. The level of involvement of each client is self-determined.
Individuals interested in accessing care and supportive services are required to complete an intake in order to enroll in services.
