A limited number of internships are available in each of the departments of the agency. Internships may include: case management, social work, fund raising, event planning, and HIV prevention services. The agency works with individuals to develop an internship that will be fulfilling for both the intern and staff.
Care and Supportive Services - Individuals interested in a care and supportive services internship should be enrolled in a social science academic program on at least a Bachelor's Degree level. Masters candidates are also welcome.
Prevention and Education Services - Individuals interested in interning with the prevention and education services programs should have an interest in public health and disease prevention programs. Interns must have a high level of comfort working with high risk and diverse populations.
Events and Development - Interns in the events and development department must possess a high level of energy and organization. Individuals will assist in the development and implementation of all phases of a fundraising program from special events to direct donor solicitation. Level of involvement depends upon experience and skills.

To apply for an internship at AIDS Community Alliance please send a cover letter and resume addressed to the appropriate department manager. Be sure to include the following in the materials sent to ACA:
o The proposed length of the internship (Semester, Six Months, Year, etc.)
o Your field of academic study / personal interest (Social Work, Public Health, Administration, etc.)
o The academic institution with which you may be affiliated (Dickinson, Gettysburg, Lebanon Valley College, Millersville, etc.)
o Your academic advisor, if applicable
